From our incredible hospitality and five-star service to world-class restaurants, breathtaking resorts, rich Mexican culture and, of course, the natural beauty of Baja, Los Cabos has a way of turning a vacation into something you remember forever.
And we’re always proud to see people from around the world choose our destination — whether they’re here for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, family vacation or simply a few days away from it all.
This time, it was Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry, who celebrated her milestone 60th birthday here in Los Cabos with her fiancé, musician Van Hunt.
And judging by the photos, Cabo looked very good on both of them.
Halle looked absolutely stunning — radiant, relaxed and genuinely happy — and she and Van make such a gorgeous couple. There’s something especially sweet about seeing the two of them laughing, enjoying the sunshine and simply soaking up their time together.
The couple stayed at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, the ultra-luxury resort along the coastline near San José del Cabo, enjoying exactly the kind of experience Los Cabos does so well: privacy, beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, incredible food and plenty of time to slow down and enjoy the moment.

A Birthday, Cabo Style
Berry shared glimpses of the getaway with her millions of followers, describing the celebration as “simply magical.”
And this wasn’t just a birthday spent lounging by the pool — although, honestly, there would be nothing wrong with that.
Halle and Van spent time out on the Sea of Cortez aboard a private yacht, enjoyed wellness experiences, a wine-making experience and some of the beautiful dining that has helped make Los Cabos one of Mexico’s top culinary destinations.
And here’s one part we especially loved:
They dined at HUMO — one of our favorite restaurants in Los Cabos.
Located at Zadún, HUMO is centered around fire-driven cooking, fresh local ingredients, seafood, premium cuts and the flavors of Baja.
So yes, Halle apparently has pretty great taste in Cabo restaurants, too.
The photos from the trip show a couple that looked incredibly happy and comfortable together. Halle officially turned 60 on August 14, and if this is what 60 looks like, we’re here for it.
She looked glowing, confident and completely at ease — and most importantly, she looked happy.
Why Los Cabos?
Of course, we’re not surprised they chose Cabo.
Los Cabos has become one of those rare destinations that manages to offer serious luxury without losing what makes it special.
You can spend the morning on the Sea of Cortez, have lunch prepared with ingredients grown right here in Baja, relax at a world-class spa in the afternoon and end the evening watching one of those sunsets that somehow never gets old.
But beyond the beautiful resorts, beaches, yachts and restaurants, what continues to make Los Cabos special is the hospitality.
It’s the people.
It’s the warmth of the service, the food, the culture and the feeling that guests are genuinely welcomed here.
That’s something we’re incredibly proud of.
So when we see someone choosing Los Cabos for a milestone as important as a 60th birthday, we love it — not simply because another celebrity came to Cabo, but because it gives us another chance to celebrate a destination we already know is pretty extraordinary.
And Halle and Van certainly seemed to agree.
