For many visitors, snowbirds and new residents, one of the first practical questions in Los Cabos is wonderfully ordinary: where is Walmart? The answer is easier than many first-time visitors expect. Walmart México currently lists three Walmart Supercenter locations serving Los Cabos — two in Cabo San Lucas and one in San José del Cabo.
That makes everything from arrival-day groceries to beach supplies, toiletries and household basics relatively simple, whether you are staying for a weekend or settling in for the season.
1. Walmart Supercenter Cabo San Lucas — Country Club

This is the Walmart many Cabo visitors recognize first. It sits along the Transpeninsular Highway in the Country Club / Plaza San Lucas area, making it convenient for Cabo San Lucas, El Tezal and much of the tourist corridor.

2. Walmart Supercenter Cabo Marina

Walmart’s official Cabo San Lucas store page lists a second Supercenter in the Cabo Marina area, only about 1.3 kilometers from the Country Club store. This is a handy option for anyone staying closer to downtown Cabo, the marina or Médano Beach.

3. Walmart Supercenter San José del Cabo

For travelers and residents on the San José side, this is the practical choice. It is well positioned for San José del Cabo, the hotel zone, Puerto Los Cabos and nearby residential communities, without requiring a drive toward Cabo San Lucas.

What can you buy at Walmart in Los Cabos?
For vacationers and residents alike, Walmart is useful because it combines so many everyday errands under one roof. Shoppers commonly use it for groceries, bottled water, produce, pantry basics, cleaning supplies, toiletries, baby items, household goods, electronics and last-minute beach essentials.
It is also worth remembering that Walmart México is not simply a carbon copy of a U.S. store. You will find plenty of familiar international brands alongside Mexican products, regional ingredients and locally relevant selections. For newcomers, that mix makes grocery shopping feel easy without losing the sense that you are very much in Mexico.
Pickup can make arrival day much easier
Walmart México offers a Pickup option at participating stores. Orders are placed through Walmart.com.mx or the Walmart app, then shoppers select a pickup location and time. Depending on the store and order, pickup may be available from the parking area or inside the store.
For villa guests, families arriving from the airport or residents trying to avoid a long grocery run, this can be one of the more practical ways to get settled quickly.
Which Walmart should you use?
- Cabo San Lucas / El Tezal: start with Walmart Supercenter #3069.
- Downtown Cabo / Marina / Médano: Cabo Marina may be more convenient.
- San José / Puerto Los Cabos: use the San José del Cabo location.
Los Cabos may be known for luxury resorts and destination restaurants, but daily life here is surprisingly convenient. Having three Walmart locations across the municipality is one small example of why spending a week — or making the move full-time — can feel easier than many newcomers expect.
