Our recent morning at Torote Restaurant in Los Cabos was a perfect 10 out of 10. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views. The restaurant elegantly blends rustic charm with the natural beauty of Los Cabos, setting the perfect tone for our visit.

Delicious Breakfast Delights

We enjoyed a delightful breakfast featuring chilaquiles and a sweet potato Buddha bowl. The chilaquiles were made with olive oil-baked tortilla chips, topped with our choice of salsa, avocado, sour cream, and panela cheese. The sweet potato Buddha bowl was a fresh and flavorful mix of chickpeas, avocado, quinoa, tomatoes, chayote, and garden herbs. We were also treated to complimentary Mexican coffee spritz and a refreshing watermelon, lemon basil mint appetizer.

We had the pleasure of meeting Chef Victor Garrido, who was incredibly nice and welcoming. His passion for fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and his innovative techniques was evident in every dish.

Our amazing server, JC, provided exceptional service and gave us a tour of the restaurant. He shared insights about the restaurant’s features, including the breathtaking views from the top floor overlooking the iconic Cabo Arches. The restaurant also has an on-site animal sanctuary, home to rescued goats, bunnies, donkeys, and chickens. Guests can even feed the animals with provided treats, adding a unique and charming touch to the visit.
Torote Restaurant also offers beautiful event spaces, including a chapel and garden for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special gatherings. The lush garden filled with fresh ingredients provides a magical backdrop for any event.
Our morning at Torote Restaurant was magical. With exceptional food, stunning views, and warm hospitality, it’s a must-visit in Los Cabos. We give Torote Restaurant a perfect 10 out of 10 and can’t wait to return.
