Los Cabos’ fall culinary calendar gets another high-profile entry this week when Festival of Flavors with Chef Travis Swikard comes to Don Manuel’s from October 8–10.
The event appears on the official Los Cabos tourism calendar among the destination’s featured culinary experiences.
A visiting-chef moment for Cabo
Swikard is known for a cooking style influenced by the Mediterranean and California, making the collaboration an interesting fit for a destination where chefs routinely work with seafood, local produce and Baja’s coastal setting.
Don Manuel’s, at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, already occupies a distinctive position in Cabo’s luxury dining scene. Bringing in a visiting chef turns dinner into a short-run event rather than another permanent-menu recommendation.
For diners, the most important practical detail is the limited window: the tourism calendar lists the Festival of Flavors for only three days, October 8 through October 10.
