October in Cabo San Lucas means marlin, packed docks and two of the most anticipated weeks on the international sportfishing calendar.
Bisbee’s has confirmed its 2026 Los Cabos Offshore for October 12–17, followed immediately by the flagship Black & Blue from October 19–24.
The Los Cabos Offshore — often called the “Little Bisbee’s” — begins registration October 13, with fishing October 14–16 and the awards celebration October 17. Unlike the marlin-focused Black & Blue, the Offshore event also includes tuna and dorado categories.
Then comes the Black & Blue
Registration for the Black & Blue is scheduled for October 20 at Puerto Paraíso Mall, followed by three fishing days October 21–23. Each day begins with the tournament’s signature 7:00 a.m. shotgun start. The awards celebration follows October 24.
Bisbee’s currently promotes purses exceeding $2.7 million for Los Cabos Offshore and a record $11.5 million-plus for the Black & Blue, although final payouts depend on tournament participation and entries.
Even for people who never board a fishing boat, tournament week changes the energy around downtown Cabo. The marina, restaurants and surrounding nightlife fill with crews, spectators and visiting anglers.
For visitors planning an October trip, the weigh station and marina activity provide an accessible way to experience one of the traditions that helped establish Cabo San Lucas as a global sportfishing destination.
