The Cabo del Sol Course welcomes resort guests and outside visitors. Four Seasons Cabo del Sol guests currently receive privileged access, and public tee-time reservations are also offered through Cabo del Sol.

THE CABO MAGAZINE VIEW

This is the course to choose when you want the Cabo del Sol name without private-club restrictions: Tom Weiskopf heritage, modern Fry/Straka renovation work and ocean views from every hole.

THE COURSE

About Cabo del Sol Course

The Cabo del Sol Course is the visitor-accessible counterpart to the private Cove Club within the larger Cabo del Sol community. Tom Weiskopf designed the course to use elevation and desert landforms to frame broad Sea of Cortés views, creating a round that feels unmistakably tied to the Tourist Corridor.

For golf travelers, the distinction between the two Cabo del Sol courses is important. The Cabo del Sol Course can be considered by outside golfers, while the Cove Club operates as a private club. That makes this course a strong option for visitors who want a high-end corridor golf experience without needing membership or a specific private-club invitation.

The current Cabo del Sol and Four Seasons information lists the course at 7,049 yards, par 72. The original Tom Weiskopf design has also received substantial Fry/Straka renovation work, while retaining its visitor-friendly role in a community that also contains the private Cove Club.

COURSE EXPERIENCE

Design & Highlights

Tom Weiskopf routed the course through desert foothills, arroyos and elevated terrain above the Sea of Cortés. The course is known for panoramic water views and a strategic desert character rather than direct oceanfront golf on every hole. Six holes were redesigned by Fry/Straka as part of more recent course evolution.

Signature holes

The closing stretch is a major visual highlight, particularly the finishing hole where the elevated desert setting opens broadly toward the Sea of Cortés.

GOLF COMMUNITY

Cabo del Sol

Cabo del Sol is one of the established golf and resort communities along the Tourist Corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Golf is a defining amenity, but the community contains two very different access models: the visitor-friendly Cabo del Sol Course and the private Cove Club.
